The Harriet Davis Trust was founded in memory of Harriet Davis who suffered from a rare degenerative metabolic disease. She was unable to speak, and had lost most of her motor abilities. Seaside holidays, in the company of family and friends, were a source of great joy and enrichment to her. She died at the age of eleven and the Trust was established in 1992 as a tribute to her shining spirit. The aim of the Trust is the provision of seaside locations which are then adapted and equipped to cater for disabled children and their families and carers so they can enjoy the benefits of seaside holidays.
This charity was nominated by a stockist of Halo furniture, T.P Hughes who is based in Tenby. Express Yourself donated furniture to one of the Trust’s newly renovated holiday homes.
